Caterpillars and Pandas

At The Learning Center, our Caterpillars and Pandas classrooms are designed to help curios two-year-olds explore their world with confidence, creativity, and care. Through a blend of faith-based learning, playful discovery, and intentional instruction, we nurture every child's unique developmental journey. Our goal is to create a faith-filled, emotionally supportive, and academically enriching environment where children feel safe, seen, and excited to learn.


Classroom Environment

  • Small class size: 10 children with 2 full-time teachers
  • Daily written reports for parents detailing mood, activities, eating, and toileting
  • Safe, engaging spaces that encourage independence and joyful learning

  • Research-based and aligned to state and national standards
  • Continuity from birth to Pre-K

    Bible-based Curriculum
  • Daily stories, songs, verses, and spiritual activities
  • Weekly Chapel services to build faith and community

  • Music and Movement to energize and inspire
  • Family-style lunch to promote independence and social interaction
  • 2-hour nap to rest and recharge
  • Outdoor play in morning and afternoon (weather permitting)

  • Colors, shapes, numbers, and letter recognition
  • One-to-one correspondence and early math concepts
  • Thematic daily activities that are intentional and child-centered
  • Differentiated instruction to meet each child's unique needs

Social-Emotional Support
  • Conscious Discipline: a classroom management system that fosters emotional intelligence, safety, and peer interactions
  • Language-rich environment: Weekly vocabulary themes introduced through books, songs, photo cards, finger plays, and group dialogue
  • Three developmental assessments: Fall, winter, and spring
